Q: What is Microblading?

Microblading is the art form of creating realistic semi-permanent brow tattoos through a process in which each individual "hair" is manually tattooed creatiing the illusion of fuller and more shapely brows.

Q: How long does it take for Microblading to heal?

While everyones healing time varies, most people find their microblading is done scabbing within 5-10 days. You will not see the true end result of your treatment until 5-6 weeks out from your original appointment. Know that Microblading is a process and you are bound to have some ups and downs through the healing but TRUST IN THE PROCESS and everything will be OK!

Q: What are Powder Brows?

Q: What is Lip Blush?

Lip Blush is a lip tattoo that creates the illusion of fuller and more symmetrical lips while leaving you with a soft tint of color. Lip Blush is also used to correct dark patches or loss of pigment.

Q: How long does it take for Lip Blush to heal?

Lip Blush is typically healed within one week with the worst of the scabbing and skin sloughing at 3-5 days out from your procedure. I provide an extremely moisturizing and all natural lip balm to use throughout your healing process.

Q: What are Combo Brows?

Q: Does Microblading

hurt?

Though each individuals pain tolerence can be vastly different, all brow procedures, including microblading, tend to be one of the most painless. I have had several clients fall asleep during their brow procedures. I use two different anesthetics to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

Q: Does Lip Blush hurt?

Every individuals pain tolerance is vastly different and I cannot predict how much you will feel before hand. My goal is to keep every client as pain free as possible by using two different anesthetics throughout the procedure. Most people find it to be a little uncomfortable but tolerable.

Q: What are Nano Brows?

Powder Brows are a semi-permanent brow tattoo that gives the look of being filled in with makeup. Hairstrokes are not used in powder brows creating more solid and pronounced brow definition.

Combo brows, also known as a 'blade & shade,' are the combination of creating hairstrokes and adding shading. The shading can be soft and add subtle definition or more intense for  a 'filled in with makeup' look.

Nano brows are brow tattoos where the hairstrokes are creating using a machine vs. a manual tool. Nano brows are less invasive and typically last longer than traditional microblading. This is a great option for anyone who has particularly sensitive or mature skin since there is less trauma to the treated area.

Q: How long do Freckle tattoos last?

Q: How long does Lip Blush last?

Q: How long do Brow tattoos last?

How long freckle tattoos last will vary widely depending on your skincare routine. If you use skincare with lighteners and brighteners such as hyluronic acid or vitamin C, or resurfasing agents, your freckles will fade more quickly. Additionally, using suncreen daily will help protect your new freckles. On average, most clients will need an annual freckle refresher.

On average, Lip Blush lasts 3-5 years. How long your lip blush lasts will depend on how you care for your lips, however. If you pick at, bite, or exfolliate your lips often, the color will fade more quickly. On the flip side, using a lip balm with SPF will extend the life of your lip blush.

Though brow tattoos can last a few years, it is recommended that you get an annual touch-up to maintain the color, shape, and saturation of your brows.

Q: Do Eyeliner tattoos hurt?

Q: How long do Eyeliner tattoos last?

Q: Why do I have to take an anti-viral prior to my Lip Blush procedure?

Everyones pain tolerance is vastly different and my goal is to keep each client as comfortable as possible. Even though the skin on your eyelids is thin and vascular, most clients say the eyeliner procedure is tolerable with the anesthetics I use - especially since it is relatively quick and the healing process is so easy.

Eyeliner tattoos typically last 10+ years. If you use and lighters or brighteners in your eye cream, such as Vitamin C, your eyeliner tattoo will fade more quickly. Additionally, wearing sunglasses when you're in direct sunlight will help preserve your eyeliner longer.

As a preventative measure I require all clients to take an anti-viral, such as Valtrex, 5 days prior and 5 days post your lip blush procedure. This is because the HSV virus can lay dormant in your nerve roots without ever causing a 'breakout.' That means that it is possiible to have the virus without ever knowing it. The process of tattooing your lips can cause the virus to become active. Taking the anti-viral will ensure that doesn't happen.

Q: Can I contract HSV, the virus that causes cold sores, through the Lip Blush procedure?

Q: What kind of pigment does Nikoma & Co. use?

Q: How long does it take for Eyeliner and Lash Enhancements to heal?

No. I use all brand new needles, sanitize my machine between clients, and newly wrap it for each new procedure. This ensures there is no possible way for you to contract the HSV virus through the lip blush procedure.

I use a combination of Permablend Pigments (www.Permablend.com) & Everafter Pigments (www.everafterpigments.com). Both lines are highly concentrated pigmets that are organic and vegan certified.

Each individuals healing process is as unique as they are but one thing they all have in common is that the eyeliner healing process happens quickly. Most clients say their eyeliner or lash line enhancements is healed within 3-7 days.
